Case Study: Be Herd Communications' Fundraising Project

A Brief History
Be Herd Communications is a PR firm run by Marshall SOJMC senior students during the 2017 Capstone project. We aimed to raise enough funding money for the River Valley Child Development Services, a West Virginia charity organization to continue their School Age Connection program for at least another fiscal year.
The Solution
As the Chair of the Creative Team, I oversaw the production of promotional materials for all fund-raising activities, including merch, posters, and social media content. Each product needs to meet three goals:
Look good
Get as much attention from the public as possible
Maintain brand consistency
The material was posted and promoted on various social media. We focused on Facebook since our target audience are mainly active on the site.

The Result
We successfully raised ~$8000 for the client, allowing them to continue their program for one more year. In 2019, we won Best Flyer and Best Social Media Ads at the Tribus Awards.
